Calling all avid readers and literati: submit a guest column about literature, and we'll publish it. What are you reading?April marks the 25th anniversary of National Poetry Month. Just last month was the 23rd National Reading Month. There are countless ways to celebrate one of humanity's most cherished traditions, and this month, we're asking you to join the conversation. Paper Crane's guest columns are open to anyone who wants to submit, but from 23 April to 23 May, we're opening the door for easier access to our blog. The only requirement: write about reading. Write anything about reading. If you have thoughts, we want to hear them. What we're looking for:
We're open to anything. Editorials can be about reading, writing, or something in between, as long as it analyzes some aspect of literature. The only catch is that it has to be tasteful: that means no disrespecting any communities, no harassment, no oversharing. We reserve the right to refuse your publication (on a very rare occasion). Join the conversationOur goal is simply to talk about literature in a safe and open environment. If you have something you want us to publish, please submit your work through email at papercranejournal@gmail.com with the phrase 'Write About Reading Event' somewhere in the subject line. Your work will be published on our website within 72 hours, after non-comprehensive spelling and grammar edits.
