On December 1, 2020, the Paper Crane Journal. Since then, we've gotten hundreds of amazing submissions, released three issues (with a fourth in a few weeks!), and been able to interact with some of the most talented, wonderful young writers and artists. As we come up on our one year anniversary, we've decided to make several changes that we hope will improve our journal to the best it can be. Gallery
Following the current reading period, we will no longer be considering submissions for our gallery. All published pieces will remain on the website, but there will be no new additions. Previously Published Work Since the gallery will no longer be in service, previously published works are now eligible for consideration in the quarterly journal with consent from the place of first publication. Hiatus After the release of Issue IV on December 15, we have decided to take a hiatus of one reading period in order to work on releasing our anthology and enacting these changes. During this time, we will not be publishing any new work or accepting new submissions. We will, however, remain active on social media and through our email to answer questions. Once again, we would like to thank you all for supporting us in this past year. Make sure to keep an eye out for Issue IV, coming out in mid-December, and the Paper Crane Prose Anthology, coming early 2022. Sincerely, the Editors
