How We're Doing Things Differently in 2024

If you're reading this, that means you've seen our brand new website. We hope this will help usher in a new era here at the Paper Crane. But the website is not all we're doing differently starting this volume.

Going forward, published pieces will be released on a staggered basis. Once all pieces have been published, we will compile all publications into an interactive issue via Calameo (like every year). These issues will look very different, but our distinctive illustrations will return on both our website and the interactive issue. Reading periods will remain rolling.

Submissions will open on June 15, 2024. As always, we hope to give young people a chance to see their work published regardless of their experience level or publication history (whether you have three pubs or this is your first one!). You can view the submission guidelines right here. We can't wait to see your work!
